Kenmore vacuum beater brush problems Model# 11651612001

My Kenmore beater brush works sporadically. I have changed the belt, cleaned the head and pushed the reset button. Do I need a new motor?

I know that it can be very inconvenient for you not to have your vacuum working properly. While you are waiting for an expert to respond I was able to locate some great information that could possibly assist you with your issue. I have added the link below. Hope this helps!

I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your vacuum brush assembly. There are several parts that can cause this type of problem. Since you have already replace the belt and cleaned the head, I would suggest that you check the sprocket for wear and tear. This can cause the belt to slip, which will cause it to stop working. Also check the pulley on the motor first. If this is worn, it will cause the same problem. If these parts are okay, then replace the motor. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
