The Kidde Talking Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm combines both alarm and voice warnings into one unit. The Talking Alarm emits a beeping tone followed by a voice warning that clearly states the present danger: “Fire! Fire!” or “Warning! Carbon Monoxide!” Sophisticated ionization sensors detect smoke and fire. Proven Nighthawk technology delivers the most accurate carbon monoxide (CO) alarm sensors. Voice warning is an 85-decibel alarm that alerts to the danger of fire or carbon monoxide. Low-battery alert will state “Low Battery” accompanied by a single chirp and blinking light. Test/Reset button simultaneously tests both smoke and CO sensors, and activates peak-level memory function. Peak-level memory chirps 8 times if alarm has detected CO levels of 100 ppm or higher.
