Sears garbage disposal mod#175.60572 (~6 years old).
I have a Sears garbage disposal mod#175.60572 (~6 years old). I've dismantled it for cleaning. While dismantling it a small ball (~ 1/2" diameter) fell out. Can't quite figure where it goes. Any ideas?

These oops moments can bring your cleaning project to a halt. To try to help while you wait for the expert, I attached the link for your model at Sears Parts Direct to the link below. If you click on the image and then scroll over, it gives an exploded view that may help identify this wayward part. I also added the link for the owner's manual for any diagrams that it may also have. Hope this helps

After checking and researching this problem I can tell you that the disposal has no 1/2 inch ball in it.
The ball you found may have come from a Kenmore dishwasher if you have one draining into the disposal.
The ball, as far as I can tell, is not part of the disposal.
I hope this helps but reply with any additional details for further assistance.
