with the refrigerator not cooling can be upsetting especially with an appliance that we depend on daily. I have done some research on the Manage My Life website and have located a link similar to your issue. While you are waiting for a detailed reply from an expert I have provided the link below. Hope this helps!

Thanks. I also forgot to mention. I have removed the bottom front grill and rear panel, and vacuumed out all the dust. I have now put it into forced defrost mode by holding down the Door alarm and refrige down buttons, then releasing the door alarm button.

ok, So I think I found the problem- The evaporator fan, or the high voltage control board. Anyone know how I can tell which?

Thanks for the inquiry about your refrigerator not cooling; sorry to hear you are having this problem, I will be glad to assist with this.
Not cooling in the fresh food section but the freezer seems to be working would normally indicate either a defrost problem, or the evaporator fan not working. This model refrigerator has complex circuits throughout and can be difficult to diagnose, even for an experienced technician. Testing properly requires special equipment as well as technical experience. (I strongly recommend calling for a trained technician to come inspect this refrigerator.)
If you feel confident in your technical abilities and have the required equipment, I have provided the information below to help and assist. Wiring diagrams, component specs and testing process. Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and when testing live voltage be sure to wear proper safety equipment (gloves and eye protection) also be aware of sharp metals on product

You have found a possible cause already, use the specs provided to verify any part failure before replacing as parts are expensive and non-returnable.
I hope this helps, if you need additional assistance reply with details and I will be happy to respond.

Thanks Ron H.
If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

Thanks everyone. I tried calling sears home repair, and the soonest they could come out was two weeks, and I couldn't go without a refrig for that long. The problem was the evaporator fan. I replaced with a newer style fan Part # 12002744. I paid $70 bucks from my local parts store, but found it here on amazon for much much cheaper. It;s working great now, and it wasn't even hard to replace. http://www.amazon.com/Maytag-Refrigerator-Evap-Motor-12002744/dp/B003EAHZ88
