The range is one of the most important appliances in the home by far. Luckily it was able to provide an err code, now the reason why i state that is because it easier to determine what needs to be done. The link down bellow is an expert provided detailed information on what it is and how to fix the appliance. I hope that you find the link helpful and informational.

Fred M, February 26, 2011

The F1 error code on this model of Frigidaire range indicates that the electronic oven control board detects one of the following errors:

Failed oven temperature sensor probe Shorted keypad Internal electronic control board error caused by a power glitch or surge through the electrical lines Failed electronic control board

The electronic oven control board will likely need to be replaced.

If you need more help, resubmit your question with additional details.

Hello question for you. My oven range has the error code F1 and I've unplugged the oven thinking it would not come on anymore. I was wrong. How do I get the F1 beeping noise to turn off?

Fred M, July 30, 2012

If the beeping is caused by a shorted keypad the the consolekeypad will need to be replaced. I'd suggest a technician check and repair this problem. The console is an expensive part and usually can not be returned. You can schedule service at the following link: Sears Home Services .
