thanks for contacting managemylife. i understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance not working.

the first thing to try to do is the check the drain pump and make sure it is not clogged up.  in all the links given to you to follow some were for specific models of front loader washers.  the best specific answers are for the models that are identified and your answer is very generic because the model number is needed to give you good information.   please reply below and provide the model number and specific information can be given.

please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. we are always here to help.

thank you for using managemylife.com.

thank you for replying so quickly and accurately. my wife no longer sees the error codes. happy wife, happy life!!!!!

Bill__W, March 29, 2013

good, your are correct there.

sadly the machine has continued to display error codes e10 & efo. i noticed that water enters for about 8-10 seconds, stops and machine tumbles shortly. then either error code will display. restarting will add water for 8-10 seconds and cycle usually executes completely. water flows well when activated.is this a control problem? not out of the woods yet!

sam, you may need to pull the top off the washer after disconnecting it from the wall outlet. check the tube from the pressure sensor or the pressure switch to see if the tube is squeezed off and allow a false code to appear. please reply with the model number and i will be specific when requesting other tests.

thank you bill. i will do as you recommend & reply as soon as possible. i looked inside the door housing and found a paper label without model number info(rubbed off??). is there another place to look?

Bill__W, April 08, 2013

maybe there is a bar code label on the rear of the unit and if so there will be a model number on it.
