The detergent dispensers on most pressure washers use a nozzle venturi to draw detergent from a container. The pressure washer will only draw detergent on the low pressure setting.

There is a plastic hose leading from the detergent bottle to the pump on the pressure washer. To clean the nozzle venturi remove the plastic hose and remove the fitting the hose was attached to.

Under the hose fitting there will be a spring and a small stainless steel ball. Clean the spring and ball and the opening in the pump manifold they go in.

This is usually all that is needed to get the pressure washer drawing detergent again.

If you have more questions send a reply. Please send the model number of the pressure washer as well. The model number is on a tag on the pressure washer and will look something like 580.767200.
