thanks for the information about your refrigerator model 79571033010, i will be glad to assist you. based on your description of the problem, there could be a couple causes for the sticking. if a glass containing juices or sodas are often filled with ice the splattering will get onto the micro switch and the lever this will eventually cause them to stick.  the suggested method is adding ice to an empty container to prevent this. you will have to determine if this could be causing the sticking lever and or micro switch. if your method of is to fill a container that has the sticky liquid already in it then a cleaning may be all that is needed. you will need a misting spray bottle, water and a hair dryer. unplug the refrigerator from the wall or turn off breaker to the unit. spray the water up into the area of the top of the lever (misting, not a heavy spray) allow drip time then use a hair dryer to dry the dispenser off. let it set for one hour then reapply power to the unit and test, repeat if needed. if you feel that sticky liquid has not splashed into the dispenser area then i would recommend calling for a technician to come inspect the unit and find the cause of the problem, i would not recommend trying to disassemble the dispenser. i hope this helps, if you need additional help please reply with more details and i will be happy to respond. if you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: sears home services.ron h.
