Kenmore Elite He4 dryer problem

My Kenmore Elite He4 dryer model 110.85089401 will not turn. lights are on, panel seems normal, power to machine is ok, checked for any objects blocking, band sems to be one (tension on the drum)..door closes normally etc.. what would be causing this issue..? what parts would correct the problem...

If the lights and display work but the dryer will not run the usual suspect on an electric dryer is the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is located behind the lower access panel on the blower exhast. It can be checked for continuity with a meter is one is available. A broken belt might also cause this problem. The 2nd image below may help you access the thermal fuse. If no meter is available then the thermal fuse can be bypassed. Let me know if you would like to know more about this.

My dryer stopped working, the electronic controls work but the drum won't spin, the belt is shredded, we checked the thermal fuse, and it still didn't start the drum rotating, is there anything else besides the belt that could be wrong?
