Washer not spinning all water out of clothes
Sears Kenmore Model #110.2483220 leaves the clothes soaked after spin cycle is completed. We can open the lid, manually depress the lid switch and give the tub an assist in getting it started. It will then spin the clothes and remove the water. The lid switch is fine and the pump works, so?

I know how much easier it is to get laundry done when you have the convenience of your washer. I was able to find information for a washer that won't spin. I attached the link below. An expert will respond shortly. I hope this is helpful.

I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your washer, especially when you need it. From the description you give the most likely problem will be with the clutch and/or basket drive. I recommend you replace both the clutch and basket drive for this problem. Both are located above the transmission and both require transmission removal to check and service. See the image below for more on this.
Changing these parts is an ambitious do-it-yourself project. You can read through the instructions in the image below to determine if you'd be comfortable doing such a job. The 285792 basket drive is approximately $103 dollars while the clutch 285785 for $42 dollars can both be obtained from the following site: Sears Parts Direct .
This brings us to the repair or replace question. It's a big do-it-yourself job but if done by a technician the cost is in the $300-$400 dollar range to repair the washer. If you would like to schedule service, just click on this link: Sears Home Services . I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Ooops, I forgot a digit on the model number. It is 110.24832200. I could not find the parts numbers that were listed (I wonder why - duh). I see a clutch #3951311 but I am unsure about the other one.
