Equivalent part for a discontinued microwave door replacement?
Is there any equivalent part for the microwave door for the Kenmore micro/oven combo in WHITE #911.41485890? The micro door in white has been discontinued and I need an equivalent part--help! I don't have $ to replace the whole unit, just the microwave door that broke this morning.. Thank you

I am sorry you are experiencing difficulties with your Microwave. Microwaves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. Door repairs and adjustments, even minor ones, can cause microwave leakage and a microwave shielding leakage test must be performed using a survey meter after any microwave service. I strongly suggest that you have this repair handled only by a qualified service technician. I have provided a link To Sears Home Services if you decide to schedule service. If you think it may be cost effective to just replace the unit, I have also provided a link to the Microwave section of Sears.com to price out what a replacement would cost.

Thank you for your question.
I am sorry you are having a problem with the microwave. I have searched for the part but we show the part to be no longer available. I have searched on the internet for the door. I was able to find a site that claims they have the part. Click here to be taken to that site. I recommend that you call them to be sure they have the part. The part number for the door is WB55T10033. If you are able to order the door, I recommend having it installed by a service technician. The reason is the microwave should be checked for leaks after the repair. You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
