hello, are codes are so confusing and frustrating. a suggestion i have for you while waiting on a response from an expert is viewing your owners manual. if you do not have your owners manual no worries, what you can do is go onto the tab that says "manuals" at the top of the page and type in your model number into the search box. your owners manual will come up and in there you should find your error codes and what they mean on your appliance. i have attached the link below if you are interested in viewing the page. i hope this helps!

the control is seeing an error in the signal from the pressure sensor circuit. the pressure switch hose will need to be checked for being pinched, crimped, air leak or a blockage from where it connects to the control board down to where it connects to the tub. if there is no kinks, restrictions or pin holes in the pressure switch hose the control board will need to be replaced.

i added an image below with instructions on how to remove the console, replacing the control and how to raise the top.

there are four areas of concern that can cause the f-01 error code. all four areas need to be addressed to ensure that the repair is successful:

1) air leak in the pressure switch hose.

  • inspect the pressure switch hose for cracks, pin-holes or loose connections.
  • if an air leak is detected, replace the pressure switch hose.

2) moisture in the air pressure system.

  • inspect the pressure switch hose system for evidence of moisture.
  • replace the pressure switch hose if moisture is detected.

3) lint or flashing in the air dome.

  • visually inspect the air dome.
  • use a small round device (small screwdriver) to ensure that there is nothing blocking the air dome outlet on the tub.

4) the control not sensing the water level correctly.

  • the control cannot be field tested for accuracy.
  • replace the control only after you have verified that there are no issues with the air pressure system

the part number for a new main control is w10189966 and can be purchased from this link.
