good morning.... i can fully understand your confusion with the silence. i'm thinking it may be a fuse problem. i've located a link below that will discuss this issue in more detail. keep in mind that an expert will be responding within the next two business days if not sooner with a more detailed answer. i hope this link is helpful to you and have a nice day.

thank you for your question.

i am sorry you are having a problem with the mower. the manufacturer does not have a wiring diagram for these small engines. i will be happy to assist you with diagnosing the mower. from the battery, the red wire goes to the fuse. from the fuse, the red wire goes to the key/button switch. from the key/button switch, the wire goes to the engine control switch. this switch located on the bracket that the engine control cable. then from there the voltage goes to the starter. if the switch there is not closed, the starter will not run. if all of the switched are ok, have a helper hold the bail down and the key in the start position while you check voltage along the line. the problem will be between the last place you had voltage and the first place you lost it.

i hope this is helpful. please let me know if you need further assistance.

thank you for using manage my life.
