Correct Drive belt for Craftsman ZTS 7500 model 107277900

I am having a very difficult time trying to install part number 1732224SM (part determined by Sears Parts Direct chat) as a replacement drive belt for my ZTS 7500 model number 10727790. Upon further research myself on parts direct it seems the proper belt is 1734130SM, but I cannot find a length for this belt anywhere. If 1734130SM is the same length as 1732224SM (54.4 in.) it would make no difference. I have yet to find a specific diagram with instructions to replace this belt. I have only found one for a ZT 7000 which is slightly different than the model with which I am working. Specifically the problem I am having is that the belt will not go on the tension pulley because of the "guard spring" (part number 1708352ASM) which is not a spring at all, but a bracket spaced too close to the pulley to allow the v-belt to go through.

i can understand how important it is to have the right information for your tractor. the belt for this model is the 1734130sm. this is the one that is made to fit your model. the other belt is too small. as for the bracket, you should not have to move this for the belt. there is a way to route the belt so you don't have to. the image below will provide these for you. i hope this helps. if you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. thank you for using manage my life.
