is there a fitting that connects between the pump and the high pressure hose?

i know it can be frustrating when a tool that we are depending on to get the job done is acting up. the managemylife web site is a good resource to find out what may be happening with your pressure washer. i did some research for you at managemylife.com and found an excellent article that also has multiple expert answers at the bottom of the web page that addresses the most common questions that have been asked by other members. i hope this will help until your expert can answer your specific question. i attached the link below.

i don't show a fitting between the 2. i show that the high pressure hose will screw directly into the pump on the pressure washer.
