tried that already it just went up sometime last night we found it open next morning. talk about security!

the lock feature will lock out the remotes but not the keypad and the wall control. page 31 of your manual has details on that lock-out feature. here is a link for the manual in case you need it: craftsman garage door opener 139.53918d owner's manual.
there is a chance that a weak battery in the keypad or one of the remotes could be causing your problem. you can change all of the batteries and then erase all codes as shown in the manual. re-program the remotes and the keypad. see if that fixes your problem.
there is a chance that you have a problem with the wall control, the keypad or the logic control board in the garage door opener.
