D27253 regulator leaks air when it hits 115 psi, i tried adjusting the regulator an when i have it stop at 110 psi it its ok, Model #919167783
if the regulator is bad, is it not just the diaphragm inside? can i just purchase a replacement diaphragm? i do not see that as an option on partsdirect but maybe through the manufacturer ? Model #919167783 this would be the round disk in the attached image. thanks jim

I understand how frustrating it is when your ready to take on a project, and the tools needed aren't working properly. The link Jackie S sent gives good information on you air compressor. Check the regulator with soap bubbles to be sure the air is coming from the diaphragm in the regulator.
If the diaphragm is bad, you have to replace the complete regulator. Diaphragms are not sold separately.
