Failed to Open Serial Port? what do I do?

Got a Kenmore RW 1900. got a new computer last fall and hooked everything up correctly. Now everytime I try to send a design to the card reader it says Error: Failed to Open Serial Port. What are the steps I need to take to fix this?

Do you have the 93300 customizer program for 19010 ergo3, to link to your computer?

I am not sure why your new computer will not recognize your serial port on the RW 93200 but it does sound like a compatibility problem or you may have to do some different settings on the computer.

You might want to call 1-800-637-0183 customer support line to see if they can help you with this problem.

Please let me know if they have helped you and tell me what happened.
