Question and Answers

Q:

why is the water coming out of the flood hose of my ge washer

A:

Gosh, I hope it didn't make a big mess! Does the hose appear cracked or split? Maybe the clamp that secures the hose has failed. Is there a kink in the hose? I provided you two links below that might be helpful. One is a video and one is a report. Review these while waiting for an expert response. I hope this helps you and have a nice day.

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If the washer is overfilling with water or if it's over suds; water or suds will escape down the overfill tube and onto the floor. Make sure the water level is not too high or too many suds. Also make sure the water valve is shutting completely off after it begins agitating or it will over fill while washing and the tub will eventually overflow and the water will be routed down the overfill/flood hose.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
