F1 error message WTW6200SW3 Whirlpool Residential washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model WTW6200SW3; the “F1” error code indicates that the controls detect an out of range pressure signal. You can unplug the washer power cord and check the pressure hose connection from the tub to the machine/motor control, make sure that the hose is not pinched or kinked. If the hose is ok and the problem persist the machine control board may need to be replaced. I have posted a link of the machine control board to view the link click here.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

The washer has a couple parts on it to tell the pump to start. The main one would be the control panel. The second one would be the pressure switch. I the pressure switch is bad, or have a whole in the hose. It will send the wrong signal to the pump telling it to start. It sounds like the pressure switch may be going out I would recommend replacing that. This should solve your issue.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.
