I found no history of problems with the basket for this particular model. For out of balance problems there was an improved control board and for vibration there was an improved damper/suspension rod improvement. Per the serial number you have you already have the updated control. Make sure all 4 dampening rods are mounted the same. You must also confirm that all 4 leveling legs are touching the floor and the lock nuts are tight. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.

The shaft is not meant to be pounded out of the outer tub/bearing assembly.

At this point to repair this will require replacing the outer tub which has the bearing and shaft together.

The W10128830 outer tub assembly can be obtained for about $212 dollars from the following link: Sears PartsDirect .

I'm impressed that you could get the shaft out but there is no procedure for repairing the problem by removing the shaft.

NOTE: There have been some improvements made in the service procedure for that outer tub bearing since this answer was posted. The outer tub bearing is now available as a separate component. It can be replaced using special tools that the Sears Service technicians now have been issued. That bearing kit costs around $80. The labor for the technician would cost around $140 (at this time).
