Question and Answers

HOT WATER FEED WTW5521SQ0 Whirlpool Residential washer

Thank you for choosing and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your hot water on your washer is not working properly.

Sometimes there is a strainer in the hose where it attaches to the faucet. The manufacturer always puts a strainer just inside the plastic inlet that the hose screws onto on the water valve. Take the hoses off the faucet and the water valve, mark which one is hot so you won't cross them when you reinstall them.

I am seeing the water valve and filters are the only cause for the hot water to trickle in. I recommend a service technicain to diagnose your unit.
