Thank you for submitting your question. I understand your concern and I will be happy to assist you. Your Kenmore refrigerator is manufactured by G.E.. The begining of your model number tells us who the manufacture is even though the brand is Kenmore. The new ice maker part number is the WR30X10093 number you provided. Look on the interior rear wall for the tag. If it's not on the rear wall, look around the inside cavity of the unit for the tag. The tag should have the model and serial number on it, along with other information. I hope this helps. Please reply back to this thread if you require further assistance. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Hi. I searched the entire cavity of the refrigerator and had no luck. There is a label inside with the model # and serial # along with refrigerant info and other stuff, but what the icemaker manual tells me to look for is a letter inside a square to determine which directions I should follow. The letters it says to look for are: C,F,G,H,J,K,L,M,N,P,Q,R,S,T. The letters it shows have a square around them. I can't find this anywhere on my refrigerator.

Kevin, the information you're looking for is only going to be on your refrigerator somewhere, nowhere else. It's possible the tag could have come off. The only other place I can think of to check is behind the service grill at the front base of your unit. Remove the grill and check for any tags. I also recommend looking in the interior of the freezer. Sure the refrigerator inside and out.

I'm sorry you are having this problem. You have already received some good information but it does not pertain to this icemaker. If the icemaker is cycling but not filling, a common problem is the fill tube freezing closed. If this is the case, a hair dryer can be used to thaw it out. Just be careful not to get it too hot. For this problem, the water valve would need to be replaced.

This icemaker can also be manually advanced into a cycle and you can then watch, to see if it will fill. To cycle this icemaker, pull the front cover off and you will see a large and small gear. Turn the small gear counterclockwise and the icemaker should start into a cycle. Toward the end of the cycle, it should fill. If it does not fill but you can hear a humming sound, it will indicate the water valve is getting energized but not opening. In this case, the water valve will also need to be replaced. For more assistance a complete model and serial number will be needed and any additional details will be helpful. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
