Question and Answers

Q:

GE Profile Wizard Washer will not agitate or spin WPSE7003A0WW Ge Washer

A:

I know that it can be very frustrating to have issue with your washer. There could be several possible failures preventing the motor from running.

Possible causes:

  • Failed control board
  • Failed motor inverter board
  • Open fuse to the motor inverter board
  • Failed motor
  • Loose hub nut

There will be a great deal of testing needed to find the exact problem. This can be very complicated. Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I added an image below showing how to access the motor. You may be able to roll the old belt off and roll the new one back on. Route the belt around the motor pulley first and the start in on the gearcase pulley and rotate the gearcase pulley and the belt should travel into the pulley groove.

NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
