The first image below show you a parts breakdown and you'll notice part key 414,415 suspension rods that support the basket.

The 2nd image shows how to remove the front panel (and other things) so you can take a look at this problem.

There was an issue with a few of these washers with the front bracket sagging and allowing the suspension rods to sag and letting the tub assembly rub and bang against things. There was even a WH49X10065 service kit developed to fix this.

Check if the front bracket across the top seems to sag any and reply with any additional detail for further assistance.

The model number WPRE6100G2WT does bring up a top load washer but you indicate you have a front load washer. The model number may be wrong or the system may be wrong. Most noises in spin are related to the spin bearing. It is unusual for the noise to only happen in one direction. The spin bearing is still a suspect but the problem can be replated to the support for the basket. A support arm can come loose and possibly rub against the outer tub. Please confirm the model number and we'll figure out the next step. The support on most front load washers requires removing the basket and is not a good do-it-yourself project.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I do not have enough details in order to have full understanding of whats happening when the washer is in the spin mode. You didn't clarify if the motor is running or not when it should be spinning. If the motor appears to be running during spin; it could have a faulty electro-mechanical drive shaft. If the motor is not running; it could have a control board failure, motor failure or lid switch failure.

Being an electronically controlled washer which uses an inverter controlled motor and an electro-mechanical drive shaft and tube assembly; I highly recommend calling a service technician with the experience and knowledge to properly diagnose and repair your washer.

You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Hi Winter,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

The first thing you need to do is check for error codes. There is a LED on the motor inverter board that will reveal an error code if one is present. This information is detailed in the images below. Step 7 on the bottom section of the image below demonstrates where the LED is located. The motor inverter status chart near the wiring diagram shows the error codes. Each set of flashes represents an error code.

Gain access to the motor inverter assembly and see if there is an error code flashing. Then follow the instructions on the tech sheet or reply to this post with the error flash information and I will be happy to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram and for parts purchases; Sears Parts Direct .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
