Question and Answers

Q:

Why is my GE washer leaking sometimes?

A:

An intermittent overfilling condition could be caused by; water valve, pressure switch, pressure switch hose or the outer tub/air dome. An intermittent leak could be caused by; tub seal, water pump, outer tub, restricted drain line or cut hose. I recommend removing the front panel & inspecting for leaks also. Use a putty knife to release the spring clips located between the top & front panels. Be sure to use extreme caution & disconnect power before attempting repairs.
