Question and Answers

Q:

Tub spin during wash cycle WJSR2080T5WW Ge Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand howm frustrating it can be when your washer is not working properly.

From the description you give I suspect the brake has failed. This washer has a brake assembly which should prevent the tub from turning (spinning) in agitation.

WH38X10002 is the replacement part.

Q:

Why is my GE washer leaking water?

A:

On something like this we will need to access the front of the washer in order to make some inspections. It sounds like the tub seal is leaking. Use a putty knife to release the clips between the top & front panel located about 4 inches from the side panels. If you see water leaking from the center area above the transmission, this is where the tub seal is located. I recommend checking the tub seal.
