Q:

Noise - Inside basket moving with agitator WJRR4170G2WW Ge Washer

Q:

agitater does not work WJRR4170G2WW Ge Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your agitator is not working properly on your washer. I did look into the model number you have provided, and I have found information to assist you.

If you unit does not spin or agitate then you will need to check if the belt under your washer is still intact. If it is not then you will need to replace the belt.

T
he lid switch would be the next part to check since the unit won't spin when the lid is not closed.

I would recommend checking the belt first and then going further.

You will need a putty knife or butter knife to slide under the top of the washer frame and unlock the locking clips, then you can unscrew the front panel to get to the belt.
