Thanks for contacting manage my life about your washer model WHDRE526E1WW; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. Based on your description of the issue, if you are sure the motor is running during the spin then the issue is in the spin bearings, or transmission and overhaul will be required. If the motor is not running and not draining there could be a pump issue, normally the pump must drain water before the unit will spin. I hope this helps, if you need additional assistance please reply with more details and I will be happy to respond. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.Ron H.

Thank you for your question.

Caution: Before attempting any repair, unplug the washer from the wall first.

First you will need a putty knife.  First locate two spring clips between the front panel and top panel.  They will be located a few inches from the corners.

Insert putty knife and push in to release clips.  Rotate the front panel up and forward to relese the front panel from the two tabs supporting the front panel.

You are the best Alina. Not sure it was the newer or older version. But, I did both. The ehow link I used. My unit is 6 yrs. old. It is now on it's 3rd load of uninterrupted washing. I think it has something to do w/all the little brown outs I get. However, it seems fixed & I give you a GIGANTIC shout out. ThanZ a Gazillion.

I can understand this recurring issue would be upsetting. Sometimes disconnecting power to the dishwasher for 30 seconds will clear the fault, error or function code, however there are some cases when further service may be required. Here is a manufacturer video that may help:GE Video .

If this does not help, it could be a loose connection. I recommend checking the wiring and connections especially at the lid switch and drain pump. If you do see an error code, please respond to this thread with that information.

Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts.

I was not able to locate a schematic for this model. Often the wiring diagram is located inside the control panel. I did locate images for a similar washer that may help guide you.

I hope this information helps. If you do not feel comfortable making these checks and repairs, you can schedule service at; Sears Home Services .

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Barbara H., ThanX much for the links. The Videos were very helpful. I will file them for future reference. As you may know, I was able to reset the washer from the 1st response given me by Alina. However, your response led me to a very useful site. ThanX much again.
