I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your dryer.  On this model, there is no test for the F01 error code.  This is only given when the main control has malfunctioned and needs to be replaced. I hope this helps. The central control should be part number W10174745 and is pictured in the image below. It is mounted on the side of the cabinet.

If this is not the part you received then most likely you have the wrong part. The connections should still hook up to the control replacement.

The 2nd image may help you access the central control.

You can reply with any additional details about it you got what is pictured or you got something else. Check and confirm the part number W10174745 is what you received.
