Hi Victor,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I looked for a previous question from you on this dryer, but was unable to locate one. I apologize for any inconvenience.

The first thing I recommend is performing the Thermistor Test on page 5 of the tech sheet I have included below. This dryer uses an electronic temperature sensor called a thermistor in place of an operating thermostat. The electronic control monitors the exhaust temperature using the thermistor, and cycles the heater relay on and off to maintain the desired temperature.

The next thing I would suggest is checking the exhaust temperatures while the dryer is operating. Be sure and ventilate the laundry area very well when checking the exhaust temperatures. The exhaust temperatures should match the chart on page 6 of the tech sheet.

Please perform the diagnostic tests detailed here and report back with your findings. Be sure to record any failures and when they occur along with any error codes that are displayed.

I am also including the disassembly instructions for this type of dryer in the images below. Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts. These images are for demonstration purposes only. This dryer may not look exactly like yours, but the procedure is basically the same.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram and for parts purchases; Sears Parts Direct .

I hope this is helpful. Check the things I have covered here, and if I may be of further assistance, include more details, in a reply to this post.
