Q:

Whrilpool washer Model: WFW9600TA01. Error code F35 and sud

A:

F35 code seems to be a normal code. I replaced my switch as well and the steamer control board and I still have the suds error??? My washer has an extra control board to the front of the Steamer control board that no one seems to know what is??? I believe we had a power serge during a storm that started the problem.

I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your washer. The CCU that the diagnostics mentions is the Central Control Unit. This is the main control board. On this error code if you have already replaced the pressure sensor and check the air tube. This the control is most likely the problem. I would suggest that you test it first before replacing it. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, please click on the link to schedule service: Sears Home Services. Click on "Get Started" and follow the directions, click on the red "NEXT" button to continue. I hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help. Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

WORKING WITH LIVE ELECTRICAL CURRENT CAN BE VERY HAZARDOUS AND POSSIBLY DEADLY. DO NOT ATTEMPT THESE MEASUREMENTS WITHOUT THE PROPER TOOLS AND SAFEGUARDS. IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY SURE YOU CAN PERFORM THESE CHECKS SAFELY AND COMPETENTLY, REFER THIS WORK TO A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL. First check on the CCU: IF2 1 to 2 for volts AC. This should read 120vac +/- 10%. If this reading is correct, there are a couple of other things to check before we condemn the CCU. I am including a wiring diagram below.

Mike, I apolozie for the wait, I needed to do some further research on this model. Since you are getting 120 VAC on the IF2 then we know that power is coming into the board. What you will not need to check is the connections for the valves, the flow meter, the drain pump, the steam fill and the pressure switch. The abnormal reading for any of these connections is infinity. You will test these on the board. If you are getting this reading on any of them then the board needs to be replaced. The image below will provide the wring diagram. I have mark the connections you need to check. If you are not getting infinity on this, then the board is okay, try disconnecting and reconnecting the pressure sensor from the unit. If is possible that the connection is loose. If this does not help, check the pressure hose for any holes or air leaks. This will aslo cause this. Please let me know if there is anything else you need. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The water level sensor does not have any covering to be removed. The connector should pull off the old and simply reconnect on the new one. I added an image of the water level pressure switch below. The one you received should also look like the one in the image below.

Align the metal contacts on the plug with the metal contacts on the switch and then push and lock the connector on.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
