Q:

Why is my Whirlpool washer not working?

A:

The display may be flashing an error code. On this model the control board will display an error code for any type of failure that the machine has. You can put the control into a diagnostic test mode to recall the stored error codes. Once we know the error code we will have a direction to head into. Please see the images provided below that explain the test mode set up & error code list.

Q:

Whirlpool Duet ht washer won't run

A:

Thank you for your question.  I am sorry about the problem with your Whirlpool WFW9200SQA12 Front Load Washer.    What is odd is that  you do not mention any error codes.   When the washer shuts down the machine should display an error code indicating what it thinks is wrong.  The might be F11 or F01 among others.  Can you still select various cycles and options?  The image below contains the instructions to enter and run a diagnostic test.  Try this and see if you can get into the test and if any error codes show up.  You can reply below with any additional details or questions for further assistance.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Fred, Thank you for getting back to me on this. Please be advised that while waiting for a reply, I unplugged the washer and let it sit. This morning I plugged it back in and it completed an entire load. Thank you for trying to help but it looks like problem solved.
