Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F24" fault code indicates a water temperature sensor error. The temperature sensor could be faulty; the wire connection may have vibrated loose or off the sensor or a possible heater or control board failure. I would begin by disconnecting the power cord from the power source and remove the rear panel from the back of the washer. The temperature sensor (key#24) is located at the bottom of the back of the tub. I added an image below to reference the location and a temperature sensor chart. If you do not find the sensor wires disconnected, disconnect the wires and you will need an Ohm meter to measure the resistance of the sensor. At 86 degrees or room temperature, the sensor should measure approximately 9.7K Ohms. Disregard the information in the image about the heating element; your specific model does not have a heating element to heat water. The water temperature is dependent on the temperature of the hot water entering the washer. NOTE: Be sure the washer is empty of water before removing the sensor.

If you find the temperature sensor faulty; the temperature sensor for model WFW8410SW01 washer is part #8181705 which can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.
