Question and Answers

Q:

Why does my new oven take 15 minutes to preheat while the last one that I had only took 4 minutes?

A:

Fifteen minutes is the normal time that is will take this model of oven to preheat to 400 degrees. Both elements do not turn on at the same time to preheat this model. The bake element is the primary element that will preheat the oven in the bake mode. The broil element will occasionally cycle on during the bake mode but both elements will not be on at the same time. This operation may be different than your previous oven that preheated quicker.
