Question and Answers

Q:

washer capacity? WET3300SQ2 Whirlpool Laundry center

A:

Thank you for choosing Searspartsdirect.com and being a valued member. I can certainly assist you.

This unit is electric. I do apologize we do not have the capacity of the washer in gallons. We only have cubic feet. The manufacture does not give us the capacity in any form other than the cubic feet.

2.5 cubic feet for washer
5.9 cubic feet for dryer.

Thank you for your question on the water temperature change on the washer.

The first thing I would suggest trying is to unplug the washer for 30 minutes to see if the sensor in the water temperature switch will reset itself.

If that does not work, then you will need to replace the water temperature switch in the console.

It sounds like the sensor in the switch has changed value and is not sensing the water temperature correctly and is reversing the lines internally in the valve.

Temperature switch .

Please let me know if you feel comfortable with changing the switch yourself and I will be glad to give you instructions if you think you need it.
