Would you be able to get the error code after the TV shuts down? Turn the TV on and let it not come on. Then on the TV press and hold the device and menu button for about 5-7 seconds. The blinking light should blink in a pattern. It should blink a few times fast and then a few times slow then pause for a second and repeat. If you could provide this in a reply I would be better able to assist you.
