Q:

GE Washer Model No WCXR1070T5WW leak

A:

It is definitely frustrating having a leak on your GE washer especially not being able to locate the source of your leak. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I attached the link below if you are interested in viewing. I hope the link that I provided is helpful. Have a great day.

Hi Jeremy,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life. I am sorry you are having problems with your washer.

The origins of leaks can be hard to find when they only happen during use. You will need to disassemble your washer and look at the tub and where the hoses attach to it. Also watch your washer during use to make sure it is not due to over sudsing. I have included an image below that shows the disassembly procedure.

I recommend having a trained service technician evaluate this problem. You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I hope this is helpful. Check the things I have covered here and if I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Thanks again for using Manage My Life.

Found it! Ran a couple loads with the front cover off. There is a small hole in the tube from the bottom of the tub to the pump, but it only leaks during agitation and it doesn't leak every load either. Easy fix!
