Q:

Washer overfilling WCSR2090G8Ww

A:

Thank you for contacting Sears. I will be more than happy to assist you with your GE washer.

I can understand the frustration of your washer not functioning properly, after researching model number WCSR2090G8WW. The issue may be with the water inlet valve. The valve may be staying open allowing the water to continue to run in. we don’t have information on how much it would cost but you can find out by visiting the belwo website.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business, have a great day.

*Safety disclaimer before you try and repair the unit make sure the power supply is disconnected. There may be sharp parts to the unit that can cause injury to you if not careful. If you don’t not feel comfortable checking this yourself you can request a technician by visiting www.SearsHomeService.com*

Thank you for your question. The small connectors for these parts can disappear, leaving us scratching our heads.  The image below will help identify what should be there. It sounds like the clip or small screw is missing.  See key #679 and 9.  replacements and exploded images for this model can be found at Sears Parts Direct . If further assistance is needed, please reply.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for your response. Is #9 compatabile with parts 19, 41, 91 and 10? That is the part of the assembly that is leaving me scratching my head. Part 13 is really what I'd like to get an image of. The back part of it so I can see how this rotary switch/water level assembly piece fits into. Do you have an image, by chance? Will part #9 stop this rotary switch/water level assembly from dislodging and falling behind my white splashplate (part 13)? I did not see part #679 on the image. Thanks again for your help.

Thank You for Submitting your question to ManageMyLife.com

I can understand the frustration when you're putting your hard earned money into a product and it still doesn't want to work. Based on the information you have provided and the items you have already replaced, I would say the next item to check is the hose to the pressure switch. If this hose is clogged or split then it would not be sending the correct information to the pressure switch. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.
