Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your dishwasher filling with water. We are here to help. Based on the symptom, I suspect the water valve is bad. The water valve has some sediment in it, preventing the valve from closing properly. The water is only dripping into the dishwasher. Replacing the water inlet valve should solve the problem. The part number of the valve is 902543.  The image below may help in replacing the water valve. I hope this helps.

To order dishwasher parts, please visit SearsPartsDirect.com with the model number.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The dishwasher drain/fill hoses normally are connected to the kitchen faucet. You will have to remove the aerator from the faucet and measure the diameter and also know if the threads are on the outside or inside of the faucet.

I'm not sure if you need the male coupler or the adapter to connect the male coupler to the faucet.

It's always a problem when attempting to find the proper adapter to fit a faucet. There are so many different types of faucets and sizes. See image below.

The male coupler is part 90084 as shown in the first picture I added below. The other ones listed are the adapters for outside threaded faucets as indicated in the image except the last 4 shown. It appears the only one available is part #900140 15/16 IN-27) for $6.99. Here is a link to Sears Parts Direct . The may or may not fit your faucet. It's worth a try.

Barbara: Thanks for your help. Yes, I have seen that. On the bottom of that link, there are 3 or 4 different links (pictures) to several different adapters each. That's what prompted me to post here. I thought there was one adapter that fit the DW. Thanks though! Joey: Thanks for the help! I am not sure what you mean by inside or outside threaded, but I have taken that piece off the facet and measured the diameter of the facet to be 7/8". The connector on the DW is a quick-connect, so I think I need the first part that you listed. Is that available? And how much is it? Thanks! Tony

A:

Oh and the thread is on the facet itself, not the aerator.

Anthony: The faucet adapter is part #900140 at $6.99 and again I cannot be positive this is the one you need. The threads on the faucet will either be on the outside or inside.

Ok. I guess I just bite the dust and hope it works. The threads are on the outside of the sink. Thanks for your help!
