Q:

SLIGHT PROBLEM WBSR3140DAWW Ge Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. Thank you for your question. I can see why your washer not spinning may be a bit puzzling. When you washer is not spinning but everything else works fines, there may be an issue with the lid switch assembly. The lid switch is designed to indicate when the washer lid is closed. So during spin cycle, it can run. If the door is opened, it will notify this switch and stop the washer from spinning. It sounds like yours has become faulty. The part number you need to replace the lid switch assembly is going to be WH12X10531. You can give us a call at 1800-366-7278 or you can click here t order this switch assembly

If you are not confident in making this repair yourself, I recommend a technician go out to your home. If you would like a Sears technician to complete the repair, you can set up service at www.SearsHomeServices.com or by calling 1-800-469-4663
