I did look into the model number you have provided, and I do apologize the manual is not available for your model due to the age of the product. After 5-10 years the manufacture stops giving information certain products. 

 
W2450B has an Owner's Manual that will explain the self cleaning.

I have attached a little information that is available.

You can also visit searpartsdirect.com for parts, diagrams, and repair information.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to know how to proceed with the repair, when the wire harness is damaged.

  • I would suggest that you pull the range out and access the harness from the back and cut the wires back from the connector and strip and hard wire the wires together with ceramic wire nuts. This will be a better connection that will not over heat and melt.
