Hotpoint washer is not filling up and i have replaced timer twice.


I'm sorry about the difficulties that you are experiencing with your washer. The clothes can pile up in a hurry. Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. Based on your symptom and details, if the basket is not running over the top with water, the water must be gravity draining/siphoning out the drain hose if you do not hear the drain pump running.

The drain hose may have slid too far down the stand pipe causing water to siphon out. Raise the drain hose up from inside the stand pipe until the water stops siphoning and secure the drain hose so it can not slip too far down the stand pipe.

If water is overflowing the basket and it won't start agitating, the failure is likely the water level pressure switch or the water level switch pressure hose has developed a hole or it has a blockage.
