Q:

Dials etc VLSR1090G8WW Hotpoint Washer

A:

Thank You for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com

The pole you're referencing too, is apart of the switch behind it. You would need to replace the entire switch in this case. You didn't specify which one broke. If it's the timer the part number is WH49X10087 any of the other switches it would be WH12X10498.

If you need further assistance, please resumbit your question with additional details. Thanks for visiting SearsPartsDirect.com

So you are saying the stem comes with the switch. I need them all. I believe the tenant deliberately broke the all off from both the washer and the matching dryer (model number NBXR333EG7WW) when she was moving. In that case I need all the switches for both the washer and the dryer. How much are they each? Thanks.

From the description you give I suspect the washer has two problems. The water overfilling is likely caused by a bad water level switch or pressure hose to the level switch is kinked or has a hole. The problem with the washer not agitating or spinning is likely due to a bad lid switch. On this particular washer the motor will not run if the lid switch is bad. Does the drain pump operate? Please reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance. Remember to unplug the washer before checking the lid switch.
