Q:

Blade brakes 917288570 Craftsman Tractor

A:

Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com, and for being a valued member.

Once the deck is removed, you can easily replace the brake arm. The cam roller is used to disengage the brake when the deck is engaged. Once the arm is attached, install the spring to the arm and the bracket to hold tension on the arm. I have included good photos of a fully assembled brake arm with the torsion spring in place in this post directly below for visual help:

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
I have attached a few diagrams below for the belt routings. One if for the mower deck, and the other is for the ground drive.

Also, the owner's manual for this tractor has some pretty good step-by-step instructions and visual diagrams on page 23. If you don't have a copy of the owner's manual, I have provided a blue link below that you may click on to be directed to SearsPartsDirect.com to view and download the manual if needed. Hope these visuals help.

Q:

treadmill Proform style 4500 won't run

A:

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your treadmill not working. We are here to help. Based on the symptom, the display showing rn indicates the console needs to be reset. Also, if the treadmill worked properly before it was shipped hear, most likely there is a disconnected wire on the controller. Otherwise, the calibration that was done should have fixed the problem. It is also possible that this treadmill is in demo mode. I recommend checking under the motor hood for pamphlet on that. However, if the problem still exists, most likely the controller is bad. I provided a link to Icon to download a manual and order parts. I hope this helps.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

A:

the M and E is metric or English. and if the motor controller's led is on solid that tells you that it is receiving the correct voltage from the wall outlet and is ready to use. when you turn the speed up and the led does not flicker it is either not getting the signal from the console or it is not sending the voltage to the motor. there should be a tech sheet under the hood for the voltages coming from the console for the speed if the voltages are there at the controller then the controller is bad. if there not there then the console is bad.

Sebastien, The new revision most likely will not work properly with the treadmill. I would not try that board unless, Icon the (manufacture) states that it will work.

Sebastien, The current part number for the controller is 6047238. All the part number from 2007 have changed. Also, did you measure the output voltage from the controller to the motor with a multimeter?

A:

Yes I check the voltage between LG6 an LG5 and i have 1.71V and the voltage didn't increase with the speed (set on the console). By the way, I found a dead resitor on the moterbord, I will order a new one and replace it, then I'll update you.

A:

Sebastien, If you know how to solder on circuit boards, replacing the resistor may fix the problem.
