I'm looking at your model number 20071230 and from your description I suspect that the transformer is failing. The only parts available for this unit are the cosmetic parts. I am sorry you are having a problem with the vacuum. I have a similar model to this one and so far have not had this happen. I recommend following the cleaning recommendations in the manual first. Once you have the filters clean allow then to air dry completely. Then reinstall all the filters. When installing the exhaust filter, be sure it locks into place before closing the cover. If it is difficult to lock into place I recommend cleaning the area the filter goes into with an old paint brush and compressed air. It might have dirt build up keeping it from latching.
