My Hoover UH70035B stopped suctioning. I have cleaned the filters and emptied the canister. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you for your question.

It certainly can be inconvenient if your vacuum is not working.

This vacuum has a number of filters.

The filter screen on the funnel in the dirt cup that you can clear with the upholstery brush.

The secondary filter above the dirt cup in the top housing.

The Hepa final motor filter at the bottom of the dirt cup housing.

If you have checked or cleaned all the filters, it sounds like you have a clog in the air path.

Check at the bottom down by the floor brush, all the way up the suction hose tube to the back of the dirt cup housing where the hose goes into the elbow on the back of the housing.

Open all these locations and at any one of these places you will find your clog.

Check behind the dirt cup where it docks into the back housing from the inside to see if dirt got stuck in the elbow.

Your owners manual will show the locations of the filters.

I hope this will help with the clogged air flow in you Hoover vacuum.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.
