Q:

Hoover U6617-900 air passage gets blocked after vacuuming only one room. Why?

A:

I suspect you have a clog that you are not getting to. You are removing the easily accessible clog but the deeper clog remains. The dirt can't get past the deep clog and causes other clogs.

You need to remove the bottom plate on the nozzle by removing the 4 phillips screws along the bottom. Remove the brush roller and the belt. Clean all that you can access from here.

You might have to remove the hood to access the deep clog. I am sending you 3 images that show how to remove the hood.

I would also like to have the images as the hose on my vacuum is not sucking and I believe that it might be because it is not raising or lowering right but I do not know how to get to what is under the wheels when it is upside down lying flat
