Q:

Which way do you turn the adjustment screw to reduce water intake? Clockwise or anti clockwise? TS25AFXKQ03 Estate Side-by-side refrigerator

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your icemaker and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number ts25afxkq03 and remove cover by inserting screwdriver in notch at bottom and prying cover from housing. Use screwdriver to rotate motor gear counterclockwise until holding switch circuit is completed. All components of ice maker should function to complete the cycle. Water Fill Volume The water fill adjustment screw will change the fill time. One full turn is equal to 20cc (.68 oz.). The correct fill is 102 to 130cc (3.4 to 4.3 oz.). When a water valve is replaced, the fill volume must be checked. Here is an image that will help with the adjustment. I trust this information will help you.

Q:

Why does my inlet freeze up all the time? TS25AFXKQ03 Estate Side-by-side refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help you. Upon researching model TS25AFXKQ03 I found that the water valve could not be closing when it needs too and a little ice stays in the tube. There is also an adjustment screw on the side of the icemaker adjust it to let less water in. It could be pulling to much water. Sometimes sediment also can build up in the tube so it doesn't take much to clog it.

If you have any further questions please re-post question. Thank you for choosing Sears. Have a great day.

Thank you for your question. I know it can be disappointing when the icemaker stops working. This icemaker has some test terminals on the module that may help determine what the problem is. To access the terminals, pull the front cover off of the icemaker. The terminals will be marked (see picture) and using a well insulated jumper, place it between the L - V terminals. Be careful this is a hot (live) check. With the jumper in place, water should flow to the icemaker. If water does flow, the icemaker # W10190965 will need to be replaced. It's more economical to replace the icemaker, then the module. If no water flows but you can hear a humming noise, the water valve # 4389177 will need to be replaced. If nothing at all happens, some voltage checks will need to be made. A technician may be needed to make these checks. I'm listing a site you can access, to have a tech come out. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . If you would like more assistance, additional details will be helpful and I will be glad to assist you further. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
