Question and Answers

Q:

what is a "D6 Arrow code?"

A:

I understand that you are getting the error code D6 on your microwave. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I attached the link below for you to view. I hope the link that I provided is helpful. You can also look at your owner's manual for tips!

I don't see a D6 Arrow code listed on this microwave. You could have a control board that is scrambled due to a power surge or glitch through the electrical lines. Unplug the microwave to completely disconnect electrical power for 5 minutes. Plug it back in and see if you can set the clock. The control may work normally after this process. If not, then you could have a bad control board in the microwave. There is a fault code of F6 for this microwave that indicates that you have a bad relay on the control board.

An internal microwave component failure will need to be serviced by a technician. Microwaves are inherently dangerous to service. They contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. A microwave radiation shielding leakage test must be performed on the unit following any repair. These are the reason why I recommend that you have the microwave serviced by a technician.
